Mr. Vilaiphone Xaiyasen, a dedicated sales representative for TerraClear, loves his job, selling filters to families all throughout the district of Ta-Oy, in Salavahn Province. Covering around 100 villages on a rotating basis, Mr. Vilaiphone finds immense satisfaction not only in promoting these filters but also in aiding families with subsidized filters, making clean water accessible to those in need.
In June 2024, during a visit to PaSing Village, Mr. Vilaiphone took the opportunity to reconnect with previous customers, including Mr. Am Sim and his wife, Ui. Mr. Am Sim eagerly recounted the transformative impact of the subsidized filter he received in 2022.
Mr. Am Sim shared, “Before we got this filter, we struggled with stomach and intestinal issues from the muddy, unclean creek water. Since using the filter, those problems have disappeared. I can now drink clean water without falling ill, which has significantly boosted my health and strength. I’ve been able to work harder, which has improved my income and allowed us to have more food. Clean drinking water has truly changed my life, and I absolutely love my filter!”
Mr. Vilaiphone left the visit deeply moved. While he already loved his job, hearing Mr. Am Sim’s heartfelt testimonial reinforced his passion. Though selling filters and educating about health may seem like small tasks, Mr. Am Sim’s experience underscores their profound and positive impact on people’s lives.
